How to Use Kiwi AI
Welcome to Kiwi AI! We make it incredibly simple to create a custom AI chatbot trained perfectly on your own data. Follow this quick guide to get your bot live in under 5 minutes.
Step 1: Define Your Personality
Navigate to the Setup tab in your Dashboard. Here you will define how your AI acts:
- Bot Name: Give your assistant a friendly name (e.g., "Aria from Acme Corp").
- Brand Persona: Describe who the bot represents (e.g., "A helpful customer success agent for a SaaS startup").
- Tone & Style: Choose whether the bot should be professional, witty, casual, or direct. This controls the "vibe" of the responses.
Step 2: Upload Your Knowledge Base
Navigate to the Upload tab. Your chatbot is only as smart as the data you feed it. You can upload data in three ways:
- Text Upload: Paste raw text, FAQs, or snippets directly into the editor.
- PDF Documents: Upload your company manuals, product guides, or whitepapers.
- Website Scraping: Paste a URL, and our system will automatically read and extract the text from that webpage to train the bot.
Step 3: Test and Preview
Navigate to the Chat Preview tab. Here, you can interact with your newly trained AI. Ask it questions about the data you just uploaded to ensure it's answering correctly and in the tone you specified in Step 1.
Step 4: Deploy and Integrate
Once you are happy with the preview, you can click the Embed / Share button (coming soon!) to get a small snippet of JavaScript. Paste this snippet into the <head> or <body> of your website, and a beautiful chat widget will appear for your users.
